A 68 Year Professional Golf Legacy

Over the years, Firestone has played host to an impressive list of professional golf tournaments. Notable champions of past and present have staked their claim to fame on our prestigious courses, from Tommy Bolt winning the first Rubber City Open, to Tiger Woods’ eight WGC-NEC and Bridgestone Invitational victories. Other members of the Firestone winner’s circle include Jack Nicklaus, Tom Nieporte, Steve Stricker, and Rory McIlroy.

South Course

The South Course at Firestone Country Club is widely considered one of the most revered courses in professional golf. This 18-hole championship course has hosted more than 70 professional tournaments, including three PGA Championships, numerous World Golf Championships, and the Bridgestone Senior Players Championship, now Kaulig Companies Championship. The South Course is Firestone’s original course, built in 1929 and redesigned in 1960 by Robert Trent Jones Sr.

Marked by water on over half of the 18 holes, the North Course is meticulously designed and maintained to showcase Firestone’s natural beauty. Since it opened in 1969, the North Course has hosted both the American Golf Classic and the World Series of Golf.

Fazio Course

Formerly the West Course, the links-style, 18-hole Fazio Course features breathtaking views of the lush, rolling Firestone landscape. Redesigned by Tom Fazio Architects in 2021, the Fazio Course winds around the famed South Course and is home to the annual Ohio Senior Open.
